In conversation with Mr Sirshendu Basu Head Products of Bandhan Mutual Fund

Mr. Sirshendu Basu joined Bandhan AMC Limited (erstwhile IDFC AMC) in May 2019 as Head - Products. In his current role, Mr. Basu is responsible for product management of Mutual Funds and Alternatives across equity and fixed income, focusing on conceptualizing product strategies and ways to communicate the same. He brings with him over 25 years of experience working in different roles within the banking and financial services industry.

Before joining IDFC AMC, Mr. Basu was the Head of Investment Products and Investment Strategy at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to that, he was the Chief Investment Strategist at Standard Chartered Securities (India Limited). In his career, Mr. Basu has worked at companies such as HSBC InvestDirect (India) Limited, ABN AMRO Broking and ICICI Securities in the field of Equity Research.

Mr. Basu completed his MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School and is a CFA (ICFAI).
