Can you suggest funds for education goal of my child

I am 40 year old professional working in PSU. I want to build corpus of about 6 lakhs with time period of 5 years for education of my daughter. I wish to start SIP of Rs. 6000 to 8000 per month. Please suggest me 3 to 4 different funds with different investment strategies (like equity diversified, equity large cap, equity mid & small cap etc.) considering my requirements. Please mentioned 3 to 4 funds in each of the categories along with suitable categories to achieve this goal?

We think, instead of investing in many schemes across various mutual fund categories, you should invest only in diversified equity fund category as diversified equity funds invest across all categories and market caps of stocks. You can select couple of suitable funds from here https://www.advisorkhoj.com/mutual-funds...

The other point is that investing Rs 6,000 through monthly SIPs for 5 years may not fetch you the goal amount of Rs 6 Lakhs. Even if you get a return of XIRR 15% you will not be able to achieve the goal.

Therefore, it would be prudent if you can invest Rs 7,000 per month with expectation of 13.5% XIRR return, you will be able to accumulate a corpus of Rs 6 Lakhs in 5 years for meeting the education goal of your child.

Hope the above helps! Thanks for writing to us !!
