Please advise if my mutual fund selections are good or should I invest in any other fund

Very good and informative article. I am new to Mutual Fund investment. I am 26 years old and I want to invest in SIP around 4k per month. So I have selected the following funds. Please advise me whether my selections are good or I should invest in any other funds? 1. SBI Blue Chip Fund(G) - Rs. 1000, 2. ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund(G) - Rs. 1000, 3. DSP BlackRock Micro Cap Fund - Rs. 500, 4. Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund - Rs. 1000, 5. L&T India Prudence Fund(G) - Rs. 500

But, we think, for investing Rs. 4,000 per month, selecting 5 funds is a bit too high! You should go for two funds only.
