Should I invest in Balanced Fund as I am aged 63

I am age 63, can I invest 1 lakh lumpsum in balanced fund open ended for another three years, or can you please suggest which fund I invest this in my aged?

Investing in mutual funds is all about your risk taking ability. You should choose schemes or category of funds based on how much risk you can take?

Generally speaking, if you are a moderately high risk taker, you can invest your lump sum amount in balanced funds with a horizon of 3-5 years.
